​​There is Now an App for Your Honda TrailSport SUV​

Here’s a new, added bonus for those of you out exploring the rugged terrain of Western Nevada in a Honda Trailsport SUV: owners now have access to an interactive app dubbed the Honda Trail Experience (HTX), which helps provide valuable real-time vehicle data that may prove valuable while exploring the back country. 

The HTX app utilizes Apple CarPlay connectivity to display valuable information on the CR-V, Pilot, or Passport Trailsport’s infotainment screen. That information can include elevation, pitch and roll angles, brake application pressure, throttle application/ position, speed, engine and ambient air temperatures, steering angles, and vehicle position in latitude/ longitude coordinates.  

On the trail, users get to customize through a clear, easy-to-read display by selecting up to six data points shown on the touchscreen at any time. This also utilizes interactive maps and recorded data that enable users to revisit their routes anytime for their next adventure.  

Owners can also use the HTX app to create and share videos and still photos of their own off-road adventures. Videos created in the app are accompanied by trail data, map, and performance data overlays. Drivers can start recording videos through the HTX app by means of a “video capture” button on the touchscreen display, and videos can be created of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.

The HTX app is available to owners of the 2026 Passport TrailSport, 2026 CR-V TrailSport, and 2026 Pilot TrailSport. The app is presently available to download through the Apple App Store to use on iPhone devices.  

Of course, an app is only as good as the vehicle you use it in. The 2026 Passport, CR-V, and Pilot TrailSport models offer the ability to further into the mountains or out in the desert.
