The Versatile 2026 Honda Ridgeline Pickup Truck

May 10th, 2026 by

What is your idea of a pickup truck? Is it one that carries the load and/or tows a trailer with more than enough power to do so? They might serve a function, but how versatile are they? There is a solution – the 2026 Honda Ridgeline. It is the most versatile pickup truck available today. Now in its 20th year, the Ridgeline offers more of what you want than ever.

Its versatility comes from its flexibility. The unibody construction, combined with a modified integrated frame, enables this pickup truck to deliver capacities that rival the 2026 Ridgeline’s direct competitors. That includes a maximum payload rating of up to 1,583 pounds and a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.

The bed may be just 64 inches long, but it offers more capacity overall than its mid-sized pickup truck rivals. That is thanks to an innovative In-Bed Trunk. With 7.3 cubic feet of secure space, you can hide your tools or turn it into a cooler while camping or tailgating. To make cargo management easier, the 2026 Ridgeline offers the only Dual-Action Tailgate in its size class. You can lower it like a traditional pickup truck or swing it open to the side for improved access into the bed and the In-Bed Trunk.

Our crew cab seats five passengers. The nine-inch center display screen serves as the hub, keeping everyone inside entertained and informed with various connectivity options, including wireless smartphone integration via your Apple or Android device.

Every 2026 Ridgeline comes with the i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system and Intelligent Traction Management. This system gives the Ridgeline the agility to handle rougher terrain and snowy conditions year-round. The 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 is not only strong but also efficient. It can return up to an EPA-rated 24 MPG on the highway.*

Not many pickup trucks in its size class offer independent rear suspension. The 2026 Ridgeline has it standard for two reasons. One, they improve load management. Two, they also improve handling on and off the highway. Combined, there is nothing quite like the 2026 Ridgeline when you need to get anywhere with a bed full of your next backyard project or a couple of mountain bikes to hit the trails up in the Sierras. With a 7.64-inch ground clearance, you can handle uneven roads.
