2026 Honda Ridgeline

Performance

The 2026 Ridgeline is powered by a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine with 262 pound-feet of torque. All models are equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission and the Intelligent Variable Torque Management all-wheel drive (i-TVM4) system. You can switch to Snow, Sand, or Mud modes using the Intelligent Traction Management system, which enables better grip in various conditions.

Compared to other pickup trucks in its size class, it does very well at the fuel pump. All-wheel drive models can also achieve 18 City/24 highway/21 combined mpg.* TrailSport models are also rated at 20 MPG* in a combined loop.

The 2026 Ridgeline rides on a four-wheel independent suspension, featuring a McPherson Strut setup front and a multilink setup in the rear. TrailSport models add an off-road-tuned suspension that is engineered to handle rougher terrain beyond the highway. An electric power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system is also equipped with four-disc brakes, featuring a standard anti-lock system.

Exterior     

To understand how useful the 2026 Ridgeline truly is, it starts with a unit-body construction applied to an Advanced Compatibility Engineering Body Structure. This combines both the cab and the bed into a single structure. The result is improved torsional rigidity when loaded with payloads up to 1,583 pounds. It is also capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds.

The bed itself is also innovative. It offers the widest load area in its class at 50 inches between the wheel wells. Additionally, you will find the In-Bed Trunk, which adds 7.3 cubic feet of hidden and secure storage. This can also work as a cooler for refreshments, as you can open up a drain plug at the bottom to let the excess water out for the next use. The tailgate operates as a traditional drop-down unit or one that opens from the side. The latter gives you better loading options for the 64-inch-long bed.  

The 2026 Ridgeline comes only in a crew cab configuration with four doors. LED lighting is standard at the front and rear.

All 2026 Ridgeline models ride on a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Each trim level has its own distinctive design. TrailSport models also wear all-terrain tires.

Interior

The cabin inside the 2026 Ridgeline is designed for functionality and comfort. For the driver, they have large dials and easy-to-access information on the center screen. All controls are tactile and accessible to the driver.

Seating accommodates up to five people inside the spacious crew cab. You have plenty of room to stretch out. Leather seating is available on all models, except for the Sport model. TrailSport models receive a specific design that fits its purpose. Also, all models except for Sport add a ten-way power driver’s seat adjustment and heated seats. Black Edition models are also equipped with ventilated seats, along with a heated steering wheel. TrailSport models also feature a heated steering wheel.    

The 2026 Ridgeline models are equipped with a Tri-Zone automatic climate control system. The system also includes humidity control and air filtration.

Technology

On top of the center stack is a nine-inch color touchscreen. This serves as a hub for all connectivity, broadcast playback, and navigation. Wireless smartphone compatibility through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with wireless device charging, are standard on all models. Standard on Sport, RTL, and TrailSport models is a seven-speaker audio system, which includes a subwoofer. Black Edition models add a premium sound system with eight speakers.

Also, every 2026 Ridgeline model is equipped with a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines. This appears on the touchscreen to help guide you in backing up your vehicle.

Safety

Standard on all 2026 Ridgeline models is a suite of features that are a part of Honda Sensing Technologies. Depending on the trim level you choose, these features include Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System, Forward Collision Warning, Driver Attention Monitor, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition System, Traffic Jam Assist, Blind Spot Information System, and Cross Traffic Monitor. The TrailSport and Black Edition models add front and rear parking sensors.
