There was a time when our vehicles would hit 100,000 miles on the odometer and would start falling apart. Some owners would trade in their vehicles sooner in their lifecycle – sometimes every three years. This is not the case anymore. Automobiles are now built for durability with components that can last well beyond 100,000 miles with regular maintenance. The new benchmark for vehicle longevity is now 250,000 miles.
Autoweek compiled a list of 30 vehicles that will most likely reach the 250,000-mile mark in their lifespan. They analyzed 402 million vehicles.
