The 2026 Odyssey is powered by a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine with 262 pound-feet of torque. All models are equipped with a ten-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels. You can tow up to 3,500 pounds with this driveline. The Intelligent Traction Management system includes Snow mode for improved grip in winter.

This minivan rides on a four-wheel independent suspension, featuring a McPherson Strut setup front and a compact multilink setup with trailing arms in the rear. A dual-pinion electric power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system is also equipped, along with four-disc brakes, featuring a standard anti-lock system.

Exterior

There is no mistaking the 2026 Odyssey for any other minivan. This vehicle is designed for family transportation, starting with power-sliding side-rear doors. This feature also includes Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock, adding security with convenience whenever you are transporting your family or a large volume of cargo.

Accessing the rear tailgate is made easier, thanks to a power operation with programmable height for better loading and unloading. Elite models add Hands-Free Access for optimal convenience. Just wave your foot, and it will open and close instantly.

LED headlamps, taillights, and fog lamps are standard on all trims. Up front, active shutters help maintain airflow into the engine bay. All trims also get heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals on the mirror caps. Elite models add an auto-dimming feature to the side mirrors, as well. A one-touch power moonroof with a tilt feature is standard on all trims.

All 2026 Odyssey models ride on a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Each trim level has its own distinctive design.

Interior

The cabin inside the 2026 Odyssey is designed for optimal functionality and comfort. For the driver, they have large dials and easy-to-access information on the seven-inch TFT center screen. All controls are tactile and accessible to the driver.

Seating accommodates up to eight people inside the spacious cabin. You have plenty of room to stretch out. Leather seating is standard on all models. The second row has the Magic Slide seats, which make access to the third row – or moving forward for more cargo – easier. They also include a walk-in feature. Even the center seat can be moved. The third-row One-Motion seats can be folded down in a 60/40 split, folding flat down to the tailgate opening.

With the third-row seats up, you have 38.6 cubic feet of cargo space, with a deep area below the bumper for luggage, groceries, and so much more. With the One-Motion third-row seats folded down, cargo space opens to 91.0 cubic feet. With the second-row seats out of the way, you have up to 155.8 cubic feet to haul large screen televisions or the latest backyard project home.

All models add a 12-way power driver’s seat adjustment and heated seats. Elite models also feature ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel.

The 2026 Odyssey models are equipped with a Tri-Zone automatic climate control system. The system also includes humidity control and air filtration.

Technology

On top of the center stack is a nine-inch color touchscreen. This serves as a hub for all connectivity, broadcast playback, and navigation. Wireless smartphone compatibility through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with wireless device charging, is standard on all models. Standard on EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring models is a seven-speaker audio system, which includes a subwoofer. Elite models add a premium sound system with 11 speakers, including a subwoofer. You can adjust the audio per passenger zones within the cabin on Touring and Elite models. Both models add Wi-Fi connectivity and a rear-seat entertainment system. This includes a drop-down, high-resolution 12.8-inch screen.

On Touring and Elite models, the front seat occupants can watch the second- and third-row occupants through the CabinWatch feature on the center infotainment touchscreen. All models are equipped with the CabinTalk in-car PA system to reach the rearmost passengers.

Also, every 2026 Odyssey model is equipped with a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines. This appears on the center touchscreen to help guide you in backing up your vehicle.

Safety

Standard on all 2026 Odyssey models is a suite of features that are a part of Honda Sensing Technologies. Depending on the trim level you choose, these features include Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System, Forward Collision Warning, Driver Attention Monitor, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition System, Traffic Jam Assist, Blind Spot Information System, and Cross Traffic Monitor. The Touring and Elite models add front and rear parking sensors.
