Performance

The 2026 CR-V has two power sources. The standard engine on the LX, EX, and EX-L models is a 190-horsepower 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It also puts down 179 pound-feet of torque. You can choose either front-wheel drive or the Real-Time AWD with the Intelligent Control System on the 2026 CR-V LX, EX, and EX-L. A Continuously Variable Transmission is also standard for these models.

They are also efficient. Front-wheel-drive models can return an EPA MPG rating of 28 City / 33 Highway / 30 Combined.** All-wheel drive models can also achieve 27 City / 31 highway / 29 combined mpg.**

The 2026 CR-V’s four-wheel independent suspension features a McPherson Strut setup up front and a multilink setup in the rear. This delivers a smooth ride for you and your family. A Variable-Ratio Electric Rack-and-Pinion Power Steering system is also equipped with four-disc brakes and a standard anti-lock braking system.

Exterior

Handsome and inviting are two words that describe the 2026 CR-V. While upright, it sports a friendly design with four wide-opening doors and a face you will love. Front and rear LED lighting is standard on all trim levels. An active grille shutter controls airflow into the engine bay for optimal atmospheric cooling. Additionally, the liftgate opens wide and extends down to the bumper for improved loading and unloading of luggage and shopping. LX models ride on a set of 17-inch steel wheels with covers, while EX and EX-L models offer 18-inch alloy wheels.

Interior

Stepping inside the CR-V cabin is a pleasant experience, especially for the driver, with large dials and easily accessible information on the center screen. EX-L models get the upgraded 10.2-inch Digital Instrument Cluster. All controls are tactile and accessible to the driver.

Seating accommodates five people in a spacious passenger area. You have plenty of room to stretch out. EX and EX-L models add a 10-way power driver’s seat adjustment, and both front-row occupants have heated seats as well. The rear seatbacks on all models can be folded down in a 60/40 split, with a recline function for a more relaxed ride. The EX-L is upgraded to leather upholstery.

To load up the back of the 2026 CR-V, there is up to 39.3 cubic feet of space behind the second row of seats. Fold both the second-row seats down, and cargo space expands to 76.5 cubic feet. These account for the largest cargo area available in its size class.

Technology

On top of the center stack is a nine-inch color touchscreen. This serves as a hub for all connectivity, broadcast playback, and navigation. Wireless smartphone compatibility is standard on all models. LX models offer four speakers of sound, while the EX receives two more speakers. The EX-L envelops you with an eight-speaker sound system that lets you enjoy the music as you drive away to your next destination.

Also, every 2026 CR-V model is equipped with a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines. This appears on the touchscreen to help guide you in backing up your vehicle.

Safety

Standard on all 2026 CR-V models is a suite of features that are a part of Honda Sensing Technologies. These features include Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System, Forward Collision Warning, Driver Attention Monitor, Lane Departure Warning, and Traffic Sign Recognition System. The EX and EX-L models add Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Monitor. EX-L models also add front and rear parking sensors.

Additionally, all models come standard with auto high-beam headlights and a rear seat reminder. EX-L models include low-speed braking control.
