Reno residents can calculate the true market value of their car, truck, or SUV using the Edmunds tool. This easy-to-use web tool requires some basic information on your vehicle to create an accurate appraisal of its value. It works with any make and model vehicle manufactured from 1990 to 2023.

Information You Need to Use the Appraisal Tool

You can improve the appraisal tool's accuracy by including your license plate or vehicle identification number (VIN), but you can complete the tool without those items. If you do not begn with either of those two items, the tool starts by requesting your vehicle's year, make and model.

You'll advance to a new screen that asks for your location and a mileage estimate of how much you drove the vehicle in and around the South Lake Tahoe area. Finally, the tool asks that you complete a screen of questions on the vehicle's condition and history.
