How to Avoid the Sun's Glare

At Michael Hohl Honda, we want our customers to have a safe and pleasant driving experience. Part of driving safely is understanding what to do when the sun's glare becomes a problem. Generally speaking, glare is at its worst during the early morning hours and the late evening hours.

Therefore, if you can avoid driving during those time periods, it is a good idea to do so. If you can't avoid driving during those times, take an alternate route that takes you away from the sun's direct rays. If you can't avoid the sun at all, there are ways to mitigate its effects.

For instance, you can wear sunglasses while driving around tow. You should also make sure that your windshield is free from dust, streaks or scratches. Finally, be sure to make use of your visor to block the sun without blocking your view of the road.
